THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF NORTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY

EVENTS

 Board Meetings

Board members are elected by the membership to carry out over-all responsibility for the management and activities of the League.  In all instances, they are the representatives of the general membership and follow its decisions.

League members are encouraged to attend Board Meetings and share their thoughts and recommendations.  The Board regularly plans forums and events, discusses progress on selected studies, and choses courses of action for policy recommendations.

The Board meets August through May on the second Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm at the Riverside YWCA, 8172 Magnolia Avenue. Please join us at our next meeting on Monday, January 16, 2012

About Us

The League's purpose is to encourage citizens to take part in their government.

The League is interested in helping citizens become more informed and learn the many ways to influence government on state, national and local levels.

The League is a non-partisan organization that believes responsible government should be resposive to the will of the people, mindful that a democratic government depends on the informed and active participation of its citizens.
