How do I join?

It's easy!  Print and fill out this form, then mail it with a check to us.

If you prefer to donate to us without joining our organization, we would appreciate your support.

Who is eligible to join?

Membership in the League of Women Voters is open to all citizens (men and women) of voting age.  

Why should I join?

You will gain knowledge and experience through the study and discussion of timely and important topics. Through participation in League projects, you will contribute valuable service to the community. You will discover new interests, develop new skills and learn about crucial issues in your community.  As you meet others in League who share your interests, you will make professional contacts and develop lasting friendships.

How much time does it take?

It's up to you.  Many members choose to support the League only with their annual dues. Your membership alone gives us the political influence needed to build a voice for citizens and a force for change.  We cover a broad spectrum of issues and concerns; you may choose to become involved in one or more of them by actively participating in a group study, or listening to a panel of experts at a meeting or just reading about them in one of our publications.

What do I get?

You automatically become a member of the League of Women Voters of Northwest Riverside County, LWV California and LWV of the United States.  You will receive their publications along with the newsletter from the Northwest Riverside County League called The Voter which is published monthly, September through May.  You will have the knowledge that you are adding your voice to a powerful force of members from all 50 states, Washington DC, the Virgin Islands, and Hong Kong.

Join Us

Membership in the League of Women Voters of Northwest Riverside County runs from October 1st of each year to September 30th of the next.  If you have not renewed your membership for the year commencing October 1, or if you are interested in becoming a new member, please print and complete this form.

The completed form and your check payable to L.W.V. of Northwest Riverside County should be mailed to Post Office Box 20785, Riverside, CA 92516-0785. The membership dues are as follows: Individual $60.00; Family $82.50.

You may also enclose a donation to the Education Fund. Donations to the Education Fund are tax deductible. Please submit a separate check payable to the LWV NRC Education Fund.

Donations to the General Fund are also welcome and are used to support your local League. The donation can be added to your membership check. The donation is not tax deductible.
